욥기 27장

1 더욱이 욥이 그의 비유를 이어갔고 이같이 말하였더라.

1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

2 “나의 판단을 앗아 가신 하나님과, 나의 혼을 괴롭히신 전능하신 분께서 살아 계심을 두고 맹세하노니,

2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;

3 나의 호흡이 내 안에 있고 하나님의 영이 나의 콧구멍 안에 있는 동안에는 시종일관

3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

4 나의 입술이 사악함을 말하지 아니할 것이요, 나의 혀도 속임수를 발설하지 아니하리라.

4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

5 내가 너희를 정당화하는 것을 하나님께서 금하시기를 바라노라. 내가 죽을 때까지 나는 나의 온전함을 나에게서 지우지 아니하겠노라.

5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.

6 나는 나의 의를 굳게 잡나니, 그것을 가게 하지 아니하겠노라. 내가 살아 있는 동안만큼은 나의 마음이 나를 나무라지 아니하리라.

6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

7 나의 원수는 사악한 자같이, 나를 대적하여 일어나는 자는 불의한 자같이 될지어다.

7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.

8 그러므로 위선자가 이득을 얻었다 해도 하나님께서 그의 혼을 앗아 가실 때 그 위선자의 소망이 무엇이냐?

8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?

9 곤경이 그의 위에 임할 때 그의 부르짖음을 하나님께서 들으시겠느냐?

9 Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?

10 그가 전능하신 분을 크게 즐거워하겠느냐? 그가 항상 하나님을 부르겠느냐?

10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?

11 내가 하나님의 손을 통하여 너희를 가르치겠노라. 전능하신 분과 함께 있는 것을 내가 감추지 아니하겠노라.

11 I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

12 보라, 너희 모두는 그것을 직접 보았도다. 그러할진대 어찌하여 너희가 이와 같이 전적으로 무의미하게 되었느냐?

12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?

13 이것이 사악한 사람이 하나님께 받을 몫이요, 압제자들이 전능하신 분께 받을 그들의 상속 재산이라.

13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.

14 만일 그의 자식들이 번성할지라도 그것은 칼을 위함이로다. 또 그의 후예들은 빵으로 만족하게 되지 못하리라.

14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

15 그에게 남아 있는 자들은 죽음 속에 파묻히리라. 또 그의 과부들은 울지 못하리라.

15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.

16 그가 은을 진토같이 쌓아 올린다 해도, 의상을 진흙같이 예비한다 해도

16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;

17 그가 그것을 예비할 수는 있으나 의인이 그것을 입을 것이요, 무고한 자가 그 은을 나누리라.

17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

18 그는 그의 집을 좀나방같이 건축하나니, 지키는 자가 만든 초막 같도다.

18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.

19 그 부유한 사람이 누울 것이나 그는 조상에게 합쳐지지 아니하리라. 그가 자신의 두 눈을 떠도 그는 존재하지 아니하는도다.

19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.

20 공포들이 그를 물들같이 붙드나니, 광풍이 밤중에 그를 훔쳐 가는도다.

20 Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.

21 동풍이 그를 휩쓸어 가므로 그가 떠나되, 폭풍이 그를 그의 처소에서 거칠게 던지는 것같이 떠나는도다.

21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.

22 이는 하나님께서 그에게 던지실 것이요, 아껴 두지 아니하실 것이기 때문이라. 그는 기꺼이 그분의 손에서 도망하려 하리라.

22 For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.

23 사람들이 그에 대고 그들의 손뼉들을 칠 것이요, 그의 처소에서 나온 그를 쉭쉭대며 야유하리라.

23 Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
