신명기 16장

1 아빕 월을 준수하고 주 너의 하나님께 유월절을 지키라. 이는 아빕 월에 주 너의 하나님께서 밤에 너를 이집트에서 데리고 나오셨기 때문이라.

1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

2 그러므로 너는 주께서 자신의 이름을 거기에 두려고 선택하실 곳 안에서 양 떼와 소 떼에서 취한 것으로 주 너의 하나님께 유월절 희생 제물을 드릴지니라.

2 Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there.

3 너는 누룩이 들어 있는 빵을 그것과 함께 먹지 말지니라. 너는 칠 일 동안 그 희생 제물과 더불어 누룩이 들어 있지 않은 빵을 먹을지니, 곧 고난의 빵이라. 이는 네가 이집트 지역에서 서둘러 나왔기 때문이니, 너로 하여금 네가 이집트 지역에서 나온 날을 너의 생애의 모든 날들 동안 기억하게 하려 함이라.

3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

4 그리고 칠 일 동안 너의 모든 지경 내에서 어떤 누룩이 있는 빵도 너의 곁에 보이지 않게 할지니라. 또한 네가 첫째 날 저녁때에 희생 제물로 드린 고기 중 어떤 것도 밤새 남겨서 아침까지 있게 하지 말지니라.

4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.

5 주 너의 하나님께서 너에게 주시는 너의 성문들 중 어떤 곳 안에서도 너는 유월절 희생 제물을 드릴 수 없느니라.

5 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee:

6 오직 너는 네가 이집트에서 나왔던 시기에 해가 지는 저녁때 주 너의 하나님께서 자신의 이름을 그 안에 두려고 선택하실 곳인 거기서만 유월절 희생 제물을 드릴지니라.

6 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.

7 그리하여 너는 주 너의 하나님께서 선택하실 곳 안에서 그것을 불에 구워 먹을지니라. 그런 다음에 너는 아침에 돌이켜 너의 천막들로 갈지니라.

7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.

8 육 일 동안 너는 누룩이 들어 있지 않은 빵을 먹을지니라. 그리고 일곱째 날에는 주 너의 하나님께 엄숙한 집회가 있으리라. 너는 그날에 어떤 일도 하지 말지니라.

8 Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.

9 ¶ 너는 너에게 일곱 주간을 계수할지니라. 네가 곡식에 낫을 대기 시작하는 그러한 시기부터 일곱 주간을 계수하기 시작하라.

9 ¶ Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.

10 그리하여 너는 주 너의 하나님께 칠칠절을 지키되, 너의 손이 자유 의지로 드리는 제물의 공물로 지킬지니, 주 너의 하나님께서 너에게 복을 주신 대로 네가 주 너의 하나님께 자유 의지로 드리는 제물을 드릴지니라.

10 And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:

11 그리고 주 너의 하나님께서 자신의 이름을 거기에 두려고 선택하신 곳 안에서 너는 주 너의 하나님 앞에서 크게 기뻐할지니, 너는 너의 아들과 너의 딸과 너의 남종과 너의 여종과 너의 성문들 안에 있는 레위인과 너희 가운데 있는 타국인과 아버지 없는 자와 과부와 함께 그리할지니라.

11 And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.

12 그런즉 너는 네가 이집트에서 노예였던 것을 기억할지니라. 그리고 너는 이 규례들을 준수하고 실행할지니라.

12 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

13 ¶ 네가 너의 곡식과 너의 포도즙을 거둔 뒤에 너는 칠 일 동안 장막절을 준수할지니라.

13 ¶ Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:

14 그리고 너는 너의 명절을 크게 기뻐할지니, 너는 너의 아들과 너의 딸과 너의 남종과 너의 여종과 너의 성문들 안에 있는 레위인과, 타국인과 아버지 없는 자와 과부와 함께 그리할지니라.

14 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.

15 너는 주께서 선택하실 곳 안에서 주 너의 하나님께 칠 일 동안 엄숙한 명절을 지킬지니라. 이는 주 너의 하나님께서 너의 모든 소산에, 또 너의 두 손이 하는 모든 일들에 있어서 너에게 복을 주실 것이기 때문이라. 그러므로 너는 반드시 크게 기뻐할지니라.

15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.

16 ¶ 너에게 속한 모든 남성들은 주 너의 하나님께서 선택하실 곳 안에서 한 해에 세 번 그분 앞에 나타날지니, 무교절과 칠칠절과 장막절에 그리할지니라. 그런즉 그들은 주 앞에 빈손으로 나타나지 말지니라.

16 ¶ Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

17 그분께서 너에게 주신, 주 너의 하나님의 복에 따라 각인은 자신이 할 수 있는 대로 드릴지니라.

17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.

18 ¶ 주 너의 하나님께서 너에게 주시는 너의 모든 성문들 안에서 너는 너의 지파들에 걸쳐 판관들과 관원들을 너에게 둘지니라. 그런즉 그들은 공정한 판단으로 백성을 재판할지니라.

18 ¶ Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

19 너는 재판을 왜곡하지 말지니라. 너는 외모들을 보지 말며, 뇌물을 취하지도 말지니라. 이는 뇌물은 지혜로운 자의 두 눈을 멀게 하며, 의로운 자의 말들을 비뚤어지게 하기 때문이라.

19 Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

20 너는 전적으로 정의로운 것을 따를지니, 너로 하여금 살게 하려 함이요, 주 너의 하나님께서 너에게 주시는 그 지역을 상속하게 하려 함이라.

20 That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

21 ¶ 너는 네가 너에게 만들, 주 너의 하나님의 제단 가까이에 어떤 나무들로든 작은 수풀 하나도 너에게 심어 두지 말지니라.

21 ¶ Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

22 너는 어떤 형상도 너를 위해 세우지 말지니라. 주 너의 하나님께서 그것을 증오하시느니라.

22 Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.
