신명기 27장

1 그러자 이스라엘의 장로들과 더불어 모세가 백성에게 명령하며 이같이 말하였더라. “내가 이날에 너희에게 명령하는 모든 명령들을 지키라.

1 And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.

2 그리고 너희가 주 너의 하나님께서 너에게 주시는 그 지역을 향하여 요르단을 넘어갈 때 이러한 일이 있을지니, 너는 커다란 돌들을 너에게 세워 두고 회반죽으로 그것들에 회칠할지니라.

2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:

3 그리고 네가 넘어갔을 때 너는 이 율법의 모든 말씀들을 그것들 위에 기록할지니, 너의 조상들의 주 하나님께서 너에게 약속하신 대로 네가 주 너의 하나님께서 너에게 주시는 그 지역, 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 지역으로 들어가게 하려 함이라.

3 And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.

4 그러므로 너희가 요르단을 건너갈 때 이러한 일이 있을지니, 너희는 이날에 내가 너희에게 명령하는 이 돌들을 에발산 속에 세워 둘 것이요, 너는 회반죽으로 그것들에 회칠할지니라.

4 Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.

5 그리고 너는 거기서 주 너의 하나님께 제단을 쌓되, 돌들로 된 제단을 쌓을지니라. 너는 그 돌들 위에 어떤 철 연장도 들어 올리지 말지니라.

5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.

6 너는 통으로 된 돌들로 주 너의 하나님의 제단을 쌓을지니라. 그리하여 너는 그 위에 주 너의 하나님께 번제물들을 바칠지니라.

6 Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:

7 그리고 너는 화평 제물들을 바칠지니, 거기에서 먹고 주 너의 하나님 앞에서 크게 기뻐할지니라.

7 And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.

8 그런즉 너는 이 율법의 모든 말씀들을 그 돌들 위에 아주 명료하게 기록할지니라.”

8 And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.

9 ¶ 그리고 모세와, 레위인들인 제사장들이 온 이스라엘에게 이같이 일러 말하였더라. “오, 이스라엘이여, 주의하고 경청하라. 이날에 너는 주 너의 하나님의 백성이 되었도다.

9 ¶ And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.

10 그러므로 너는 주 너의 하나님의 음성에 순종할지니, 내가 이날에 너에게 명령하는 그분의 명령들과 그분의 규례들을 실행할지니라.”

10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

11 ¶ 그런 다음에 모세가 같은 날에 백성에게 명하여 이같이 말하였더라.

11 ¶ And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,

12 “너희가 요르단을 건너올 때, 이들은 백성을 축복하기 위하여 그리심산 위에 설지니, 곧 시므온과 레위와 유다와 잇사칼과 요셉과 베냐민이라.

12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:

13 다음으로 이들은 저주하기 위하여 에발산 위에 설지니, 곧 르우벤과 갓과 아셸과 스불룬과 단과 납탈리라.

13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

14 ¶ 그리고 레위인들은 이스라엘의 모든 사람들에게 목소리로 크게 일러 말하기를,

14 ¶ And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,

15 ‘주께 가증함이자 기능공의 두 손으로 만든 작업물인 어떤 새겨진 형상이나 주조된 형상을 만들고 그것을 은밀한 장소에 놓는 사람은 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 대답하여 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

16 ‘자기 아버지나 자기 어머니를 경시하는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

16 Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

17 ‘자기 이웃의 경계표를 옮기는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

17 Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.

18 ‘눈먼 자로 하여금 길에서 벗어나 방황하게 하는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

18 Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

19 ‘타국인과 아버지 없는 자와 과부의 재판을 왜곡하는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

19 Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

20 ‘자기 아버지의 아내와 동침하는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라. 이는 그가 자기 아버지의 옷자락을 들추기 때문이라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

20 Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.

21 ‘어떤 부류의 짐승이라도 함께 동침하는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

21 Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.

22 ‘자기 아버지의 딸이나 자기 어머니의 딸인 자기 누이와 동침하는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

22 Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

23 ‘자기 장모와 동침하는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

23 Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.

24 ‘자기 이웃을 비밀스럽게 치는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

24 Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.

25 ‘어떤 무고한 개인을 살해하고 보수를 받는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

26 ‘이 율법의 모든 말씀들을 실행하기 위하여 그것들을 확정하지 않는 자는 저주받기를 바라노라.’ 할 것이요, 온 백성은 말하기를, ‘아멘.’ 할지니라.

26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
