에스겔서 13장

1 이후에 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 “사람의 아들아, 예언하는 이스라엘의 예언자들을 대적하여 예언하라. 그리하여 너는 그들 자신의 마음에서 나오는 대로 예언하는 자들에게 이같이 말하라. 너희는 주의 말씀을 들으라.

2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

3 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 그들 자신의 영을 따르면서 아무것도 보지 못하는 어리석은 예언자들에게 화가 있기를 바라노라!

3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

4 오, 이스라엘아, 너의 예언자들은 사막들 가운데 있는 여우들 같도다.

4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.

5 너희는 틈새들 속으로 올라가지 아니하였고, 주의 날의 전투에서 서도록 이스라엘 집을 위한 울타리를 세우지도 아니하였도다.

5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

6 그들은 헛된 것과 거짓 점괘를 보며 말하기를, ‘주가 말하노라.’ 하였도다. 그러나 주는 그들을 보내지 아니하였도다. 그런데도 그들은 다른 이들로 하여금 그들이 그 말을 확정하는 것을 소망하게 하였도다.

6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

7 내가 말하지 아니하였음에도 불구하고 너희가 말하기를, ‘주가 그것을 말하노라.’ 하므로, 너희가 헛된 현시를 보아 온 것이 아니며, 거짓 점괘를 이야기해 온 것이 아니냐?

7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?

8 그러므로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 이는 너희가 헛된 것을 말해 오고 거짓말들을 보아 왔기 때문이라. 그러므로 보라, 내가 너희를 대적하노라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.

8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.

9 그런즉 나의 손이 헛된 것을 보고 거짓말들을 점치는 예언자들 위에 임하리라. 그들은 나의 백성의 집회 가운데 있지 못할 것이요, 그들은 이스라엘 집의 기록물에도 기록되지 못할 것이요, 그들은, 이스라엘 영토 안으로 진입하지도 못하리라. 그리하면 너희는 내가 주 하나님이라는 것을 알게 되리라.

9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

10 ¶ 그 까닭은, 바로 그 까닭은 그들이 나의 백성을 미혹하며 말하기를, ‘화평이라.’ 하였으나 화평이 없었기 때문이라. 그리고 한 사람은 성벽을 세웠는데, 보라, 다른 사람들은 반죽되지 아니한 교니를 거기에 발랐도다.

10 ¶ Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:

11 반죽되지 아니한 교니를 거기에 바르는 자들에게 말하기를, ‘그것이 무너지리라.’ 하라. 침수시키는 폭우가 있으리라. 그런즉 너희, 오, 거대한 우박 덩어리들아, 떨어질지니라. 그리하면 휘몰아치는 폭풍이 그것을 찢으리라.

11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

12 보라, 그 성벽이 무너질 때 너희에게 이러한 말이 있으리니, ‘너희가 거기에 발랐던 미장하는 반죽이 어디에 있느냐?’ 하지 아니하랴?

12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?

13 그러므로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 내가 나의 노여움 가운데서 휘몰아치는 폭풍으로 그것을 찢기까지 하리라. 그리하면 침수시키는 폭우가 나의 분노 가운데 있을 것이요, 나의 노여움 가운데 그것을 진멸하는 거대한 우박 덩어리들이 있으리라.

13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.

14 그렇게 하여 너희가 반죽되지 아니한 교니를 바른 그 성벽을 내가 헐겠으니, 그것을 땅바닥까지 무너뜨리겠노라. 그렇게 하여 그것의 기초가 드러날 것이요, 그것이 쓰러질 것이요, 너희는 그곳의 한복판에서 진멸되리라. 그리고 너희는 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.

14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

15 이와 같이 내가 그 성벽 위와, 반죽하지 아니한 교니로 그것을 바른 자들 위에 나의 진노를 이행하리니 너희에게 말하기를, ‘성벽은 더 이상 존재하지 아니하며, 그것을 바른 자들도 그러하도다.’ 하겠노라.

15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;

16 정확히 하자면 예루살렘에 관하여 예언하고, 화평이 없는데도 그녀를 위하여 화평의 현시들을 보는 이스라엘의 예언자들에게 그리하리라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.

16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

17 ¶ 너, 사람의 아들아, 마찬가지로 너의 백성의 딸들을 대적하여 너의 얼굴을 고정할지니 그들은 자기 마음대로 예언하는 자들이라. 너는 그들을 대적하여 예언하라.

17 ¶ Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

18 그러면서 이같이 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 혼들을 사냥하기 위해서, 팔을 넣는 모든 구멍들에 베개들을 꿰매고, 키가 크거나 작거나 모두의 머리 위에 쓰는 머릿수건들을 만드는 여자들에게 화가 있기를 바라노라! 너희가 나의 백성의 혼들을 사냥하려 하면서 너희에게 오는 혼들은 너희가 살려 두려 하느냐?

18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?

19 그리고 너희는 너희의 거짓말을 듣는 나의 백성에게 너희의 거짓말을 함으로써 죽어서는 안 될 혼들을 살해하고 살아서는 안 될 혼들을 살려 두었으니, 고작 몇 줌의 보리와 몇 조각의 빵을 위하여 나의 백성 가운데서 나를 오염시키려 하느냐?

19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

20 이러한 이유로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 너희가 거기서 혼들을 날게 하려고 그들을 사냥할 때 쓰는 너희의 베개들을 내가 대적하노라. 그런즉 내가 그것들을 너희의 팔에서 뜯을 것이요, 혼들을 놓아주겠으니, 바로 너희가 그들을 날게 하려고 사냥하는 그 혼들이라.

20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

21 너희의 머릿수건들도 내가 찢고 나의 백성을 너희의 손에서 구출하겠으니, 그들이 더 이상 너희 손안에서 사냥감이 되지 아니하리라. 그리하면 너희는 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.

21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

22 이는 내가 슬프게 하지 아니한 의로운 자의 마음을 너희가 거짓말들로 슬프게 하였고, 사악한 자에게 생명을 약속함으로써 그가 자신의 사악한 길로부터 되돌아오지 못하도록 그의 두 손에 힘을 주었기 때문이라.

22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

23 그러므로 너희는 더 이상 헛된 것도, 신성한 점괘들도 보지 못하리라. 이는 내가 너희 손에서 나의 백성을 구출할 것이기 때문이라. 그리하면 너희는 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.”

23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
