에스겔서 34장

1 이후에 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 “사람의 아들아, 이스라엘의 목자들을 대적하여 예언하고 예언하여 그들에게 이같이 말하라. 목자들에게 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 자신들에게만 먹을 것을 공급하는 이스라엘의 목자들에게 화가 있기를 바라노라! 목자들이 양 떼들을 먹여야 하지 아니하냐?

2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

3 너희는 살진 것을 먹으며, 너희는 양털로 너희를 옷 입히나니, 너희는 사육된 것들을 잡는도다. 그러나 너희가 양 떼를 먹이지는 아니하는도다.

3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

4 너희는 질병에 걸린 양을 강건하게 하지 아니하였도다. 너희는 병든 양을 치유하지도 아니하였도다. 너희는 부러진 양을 싸매 주지도 아니하였도다. 너희는 내몰린 양을 다시 데려오지도 아니하였도다. 너희는 잃어버린 바 된 양을 찾지도 아니하였도다. 오히려 너희는 강압과 잔인함으로 그들을 다스렸도다.

4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

5 그리하여 목자가 없는 까닭에 그들이 흩어졌도다. 그리고 그들이 흩어졌을 때 그들은 모든 들짐승들에게 음식이 되었도다.

5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

6 나의 양들은 모든 산들에 걸쳐, 모든 높은 언덕마다 방황하였도다. 진정 나의 양 떼가 온 땅의 표면 위에서 흩어졌는데 아무도 그들을 찾아다니거나 구하지도 아니하였도다.

6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

7 ¶ 그러므로 너희, 목자들아, 주의 말씀을 들으라.

7 ¶ Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

8 내가 살아 있음을 두고 맹세하노니, 주 하나님이 말하노라. 이는 나의 양 떼가 분명히 먹이가 되었고 각각의 들짐승에게 음식이 되었기 때문이요, 목자가 없었고 나의 목자들이 나의 양 떼를 찾아다니지도 아니하였으며 오히려 목자들이 자신들만 먹고 나의 양 떼를 먹이지 아니하였기 때문이라.

8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

9 그러므로, 오, 목자들아, 너희는 주의 말을 들으라.

9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

10 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 목자들을 대적하노라. 그런즉 내가 나의 양 떼를 그들의 손에 요구하여 그들로 하여금 양 떼 먹이는 것을 중단하게 하겠노라. 또한 목자들이 더 이상 자신들만 먹지 못하리라. 이는 내가 나의 양 떼를 그들의 입에서 구출하여 그들이 저들에게 음식이 되지 못하게 할 것이기 때문이라.

10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

11 ¶ 이는 주 하나님이 이같이 말하기 때문이라. 보라, 나, 바로 내가 나의 양들을 찾아다니기도 하고 그들을 찾아내기도 하겠노라.

11 ¶ For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

12 마치 목자가 흩어진 자기 양들 가운데 있는 날에 그가 자기 양 떼를 찾아낸 것같이 이처럼 내가 나의 양들을 찾아내겠고, 구름이 껴서 흐리고 어두운 날에 그들이 흩어져 있는 모든 장소들에서 그들을 구출하겠노라.

12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

13 그리고 내가 그들을 백성들에게서 데려오고 그 나라들에서 그들을 모으겠으니, 그들을 그들의 본토로 데려가서 강가들에 있는 이스라엘의 산들 위와 그 나라의 거주하는 모든 곳들 안에서 그들을 먹이겠노라.

13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

14 내가 좋은 초원 안에서 그들을 먹이겠으니, 그들의 양우리는 이스라엘의 높은 산들 위가 되리라. 그들은 거기서 좋은 양우리 안에 누우리라. 그리고 그들은 이스라엘의 산들 위에 비옥한 초원 가운데서 풀을 뜯으리라.

14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

15 내가 나의 양 떼를 먹이겠고, 내가 그들을 드러눕게 하겠노라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.

15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.

16 내가 잃어버린 바 된 자를 찾고, 내몰린 자를 다시 데려오겠고, 부러진 자를 싸매 주고 병든 자를 강건하게 하겠노라. 그러나 내가 살진 자와 강한 자는 멸하겠으니, 나는 그들을 심판으로 먹이겠노라.

16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

17 그리고 너희로 말하자면, 오, 나의 양 떼여, 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 가축과 가축 사이를, 숫양들과 숫염소들 사이를 심판하노라.

17 And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

18 좋은 초원에서 먹어 왔던 것이 너희에게 작은 일로 보이기에 너희가 너희의 초원들의 남은 것을 너희 발들로 짓밟아야만 하느냐? 그리고 깊은 물들을 마셔 왔던 것이 너희에게 작은 일로 보이기에 너희가 남은 것을 너희 발로 더럽게 하여야만 하느냐?

18 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

19 나의 양 떼로 말하자면, 너희가 너희 발들로 밟은 것을 그들이 먹나니, 너희가 너희 발들로 더럽게 한 것을 그들이 마시는도다.

19 And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.

20 ¶ 그러므로 주 하나님이 그들에게 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 나, 바로 내가 살진 가축들 사이에서, 그리고 야윈 가축들 사이에서 심판하겠노라.

20 ¶ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

21 이는 너희가 옆구리와 어깨로 밀쳤고 모든 질병에 걸린 것들을 너희 뿔들로 밀어냈으니 너희가 그들을 밖으로 흩을 때까지 그리하였도다.

21 Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;

22 그러므로 내가 나의 양 떼를 구원하겠으니, 그들은 더 이상 먹이가 되지 아니하리라. 그리고 내가 가축과 가축 사이에서 심판하겠노라.

22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.

23 그리하여 내가 한 목자를 그들 위에 세우겠노라. 그리하면 그가 그들을 먹이리니, 바로 나의 종 다윗이라. 그가 그들을 먹일 것이요, 그가 그들의 목자가 되리라.

23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

24 그리고 나 주가 그들의 하나님이 되고 나의 종 다윗이 그들 가운데서 통치자가 될 것이라. 나 주가 그것을 말하였노라.

24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

25 그리고 내가 그들과 화평의 언약을 맺을 것이요, 악한 짐승들이 그 지역에서 그치도록 하겠노라. 그리하면 그들은 광야 가운데서 안전하게 거하며 삼림들 가운데서 잠을 자리라.

25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

26 그리고 내가 그들과 나의 언덕 주위에 처소들을 복으로 삼겠노라. 그리고 내가 그의 시기에 소나기가 내려오게 하겠노라. 거기에 복의 소나기들이 있으리라.

26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

27 그리하여 들의 나무가 그녀의 열매를 낼 것이요, 또 땅이 그녀의 소산을 낼 것이요, 그들이 그들의 지역에서 안전할 것이요, 내가 그들의 멍에의 묶는 것들을 꺾고 그들에게서 직접 섬김을 받던 자들의 손에서 그들을 구출하였을 때 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.

27 And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

28 그리고 그들은 더 이상 이교도들에게 먹이가 되지 아니할 것이요, 그 지역의 짐승도 그들을 집어삼키지 아니하리라. 그러나 그들은 안전하게 거하리니, 아무도 그들을 무섭게 하지 아니하리라.

28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.

29 그리고 내가 그들을 위하여 한 유명한 초목을 일으키겠으니, 그들은 더 이상 그 지역에서 배고픔으로 소멸되지 아니할 것이요, 이교도들의 수치도 더 이상 짊어지지 아니하리라.

29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.

30 이와 같이 그들은 나 주 그들의 하나님이 그들과 함께 있다는 것을 알게 되리라. 또 그들, 바로 이스라엘 집이 나의 백성이라는 것을 알게 되리라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.

30 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.

31 그리고 나의 양 떼, 나의 초원의 양 떼인 너희는 사람들이요. 나는 너희의 하나님이라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.”

31 And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.
