에스겔서 28장

1 다시금 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

2 “사람의 아들아, 티루스의 통치자에게 이같이 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 너의 마음이 치켜세워져서 네가 말하기를, ‘나는 한 하나님이로다. 나는 하나님의 자리와 바다들의 한가운데 앉아 있노라.’ 하였기 때문이라. 비록 네가 너의 마음을 하나님의 마음처럼 정하였을지라도, 여전히 너는 사람이요, 하나님이 아니니라.

2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

3 보라, 너는 다니엘보다 지혜롭도다. 너에게서 그들이 숨길 수 있는 비밀이란 없도다.

3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:

4 너는 너의 지혜와 너의 명철로 재물들을 너에게로 얻어 냈고, 금과 은을 취하여 너의 보물 창고들 안으로 들였도다.

4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

5 너는 너의 대단한 지혜와 너의 교역으로 너의 재물들을 늘렸으니, 너의 마음이 너의 재물들로 인하여 치켜세워졌도다.

5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:

6 그러므로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 네가 너의 마음을 하나님의 마음같이 정한 까닭이라.

6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

7 보라, 그러므로 내가 타국인들을 너의 위로 데려오리니, 곧 민족들 중에서 공포스러운 자들이라. 그리하면 그들은 너의 지혜의 아름다움을 대적하여 자신들의 칼들을 뺄 것이니, 그들이 너의 광명을 더럽히리라.

7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

8 그들은 너를 구렁으로 끌어내리리라. 그리하면 너는 바다들의 한복판에서 살해당한 자들의 죽음들로 죽으리라.

8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

9 네가 너를 죽이는 자 앞에서 여전히 말하기를, ‘나는 하나님이라.’ 하겠느냐? 그러나 너를 살해하는 자의 손안에서 너는 사람이지 하나님이 아니리라.

9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

10 너는 타국인들의 손에 의하여 할례받지 않은 자들의 죽음들로 죽으리라. 이는 내가 그것을 말하였기 때문이라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.”

10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

11 ¶ 이와 더불어 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

11 ¶ Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12 “사람의 아들아, 티루스의 왕을 두고 애가를 지어 그에게 이같이 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 너는 지혜가 충만하고, 아름다움이 완벽하며, 정점을 확정하는도다.

12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13 너는 하나님의 동산 에덴 안에 있었도다. 각각의 모든 보석이 너를 덮는 것이었으니, 곧 홍보석과 황옥과 다이아몬드와 녹주석과 호마노와 벽옥과 사파이어와 에메랄드와 석류석과 금이라. 네가 창조되던 날에 너의 작은북들과 너의 관악기들의 작품이 너의 안에서 예비되었도다.

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 너는 기름 부음을 받은 덮는 그룹이라. 그리고 내가 너를 그렇게 세웠노라. 너는 하나님의 거룩한 산 위에 있었도다. 너는 불의 돌들 한가운데서 위아래로 걸어 다녔도다.

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 네가 창조된 날부터 너의 안에서 죄악이 발견될 때까지 너는 너의 길들 안에서 완벽하였도다.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

16 너의 상품의 허다함을 통하여 그것들은 너의 중심부를 폭력으로 가득 채웠도다. 그런즉 너는 죄를 지었도다. 그러므로 나는 너를 속된 것같이 하나님의 산에서 쫓아내겠노라. 오, 덮는 그룹아, 내가 너를 불의 돌들의 한복판으로부터 멸하겠노라.

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 너의 마음은 너의 아름다움으로 인하여 치켜세워졌으니, 너의 광명이 원인이 되어 너는 너의 지혜를 부패시켰도다. 내가 너를 땅바닥에 던지겠으며, 내가 너를 왕들 앞에 두어 그들이 너를 목도하게 하리라.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18 너는 너의 죄악들의 허다함을 통하여 너의 성소들을 더럽혔으니, 너의 교역의 죄악에 의한 것이라. 그러므로 내가 너의 한가운데 불을 일으키겠으니, 그것이 너를 집어삼키리라. 그리하여 너를 목도하는 모든 자들의 목전에서 내가 너를 땅 위의 재들로 전락시키겠노라.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 백성들 가운데서 너를 아는 모든 자들이 너에 대하여 경악하리라. 너는 공포가 될 것이니, 너는 결코 더 이상 존재하지 아니하리라.”

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

20 ¶ 다시금 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

20 ¶ Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

21 “사람의 아들아, 지돈을 대적하여 너의 얼굴을 고정시키고 그것을 대적하여 예언하며

21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,

22 이같이 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 오, 지돈아, 내가 너를 대적하노라. 그리하여 내가 너의 한복판에서 영화롭게 되리라. 그리하면 내가 그녀 안에서 심판들을 집행하고 그녀 안에서 거룩하게 구별될 때 그들은 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.

22 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

23 이는 내가 그녀 안으로 역병을 보내고 그녀의 거리들 안으로 피를 보낼 것이기 때문이라. 그리고 부상당한 자가 사면에서 그녀를 덮치는 칼에 의하여 그녀의 한복판에서 심판을 받으리라. 그리하면 그들은 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.

23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

24 ¶ 그리고 더 이상은 이스라엘 집을 향하여 찌르는 찔레도 없을 것이요, 그들 주위에 있는 모든 자들이자 그들을 멸시하던 자들 중 어떤 가혹한 가시나무도 없으리라. 그리하면 그들은 내가 주 하나님이라는 것을 알게 되리라.

24 ¶ And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

25 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 이스라엘 집이 그 사이로 흩어진 백성들로부터 내가 그들을 모으고, 이교도들의 목전과 백성 가운데서 거룩하게 구별될 때면 그때 그들은 내가 나의 종 야곱에게 준 땅인, 그들의 지역 안에서 거하리라.

25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.

26 그리하여 그들이 그 안에서 안전하게 거할 것이요, 집들을 짓고 포도원을 세우리라. 진정 그들 주위에 있는 자들을 멸시하는 모든 자들 위에 내가 심판들을 집행할 때 그들은 확신을 가지고 거하리라. 그리하면 그들은 내가 주 그들의 하나님이라는 것을 알게 되리라.”

26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
