이사야서 20:1

1 타르탄이 아슈돗에 온 해에 (아시리아 왕 사르곤이 그를 보냈을 때) 그가 아슈돗을 대적하여 싸웠고 그곳을 점령하였더라.

1 In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it;

이사야서 20:2

2 바로 그때에 주께서 아모즈의 아들 이사야를 통하여 일러 말씀하시기를, “가서 너의 허리에서 굵은 베를 풀고 너의 발에서 너의 신발을 벗으라.” 하셨느니라. 그런즉 그가 그대로 행하여 맨몸과 맨발로 걸었더라.

2 At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

이사야서 20:3

3 그리고 주께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “나의 종 이사야가 삼 년 동안 맨몸과 맨발로 걸으며 이집트 위와 에티오피아 위에 표적과 이적이 되었듯이,

3 And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;

이사야서 20:4

4 이처럼 아시리아 왕이 이집트인들을 갇힌 자들로, 또 에티오피아인들을 포로들로 끌고 가리니, 어린이와 늙은이까지 심지어 그들의 볼기들까지 드러낸 채 맨몸과 맨발로 이집트의 수치에 이르리라.

4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

이사야서 20:5

5 그리하여 그들은 무서워하고, 그들의 기대인 에티오피아와 그들의 영광인 이집트를 부끄러워하리라.

5 And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

이사야서 20:6

6 그리고 그날에 이 섬의 거주자가 말하기를, ‘보라, 우리가 아시리아 왕으로부터 구출을 받으려고 도움을 청하여 그리로 도망하려고 하였던 우리의 기대가 이와 같도다. 그런즉 어떻게 우리가 벗어나리요?’ 하리라.”

6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?
