이사야서 66장

1 주가 이같이 말하노라. 하늘은 나의 보좌요, 땅은 나의 발등상이라. 너희가 나를 위해 건축하는 집이 어디에 있느냐? 그리고 나의 안식처가 어디에 있느냐?

1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

2 이는 그 모든 것들을 나의 두 손이 만들었고 그리하여 그 모든 것들이 존재해 왔기 때문이라. 주가 말하노라. 다만 이런 사람은 내가 보살피겠으니, 곧 가난하고, 참회하는 영을 지니며, 나의 말에 떠는 자라.

2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

3 소를 잡는 자는 마치 그가 사람을 살해하는 것과 같도다. 어린양으로 희생 제물을 드리는 자는 마치 그가 개의 목을 끊어 버리는 것과 같도다. 헌납물을 바치는 자는 마치 그가 돼지의 피를 바치는 것과 같도다. 향을 태우는 자는 마치 그가 우상을 찬양하는 것과 같도다. 진정 그들이 그들 자신의 길들을 선택하였고 그들의 혼이 그들의 가증한 것들을 크게 즐거워하는도다.

3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

4 나 또한 그들의 망상들을 선택하겠으며, 그들이 두려워하는 것들을 그들 위에 가져오겠노라. 이는 내가 불렀을 때 아무도 응답하지 아니하였고, 내가 말하였을 때 그들이 듣지 아니하였으며 오히려 그들이 나의 두 눈앞에서 악을 행하였고 내가 크게 즐거워하지 아니한 것들을 선택하였기 때문이라.

4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

5 ¶ 주의 말에 떠는 너희여, 그의 말을 들으라. 너희를 증오하는 너희의 형제들이 나의 이름으로 인하여 너희를 쫓아내며 말하기를, “주께서 영화롭게 되시옵소서.” 하였도다. 그러나 그가 나타나서 너희의 즐거움이 되리니, 그들이 부끄러워하리라.

5 ¶ Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

6 도시에서부터 나온 떠들썩한 음성이 있나니, 성전으로부터 나온 음성이요, 그의 원수들에게 되갚으시는 주의 음성이로다.

6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

7 그녀가 산고를 치르기도 전에 그녀가 출산하였도다. 그녀의 통증이 임하기 전에 그녀가 한 남자아이를 해산하였도다.

7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

8 누가 그러한 것을 들은 적이 있느냐? 누가 그러한 것들을 본 적이 있느냐? 땅이 하루 만에 열매를 내게 되겠느냐? 혹은 한 민족이 단번에 태어나겠느냐? 이는 시온이 진통하자마자 그녀가 자신의 자녀들을 출산하였기 때문이라.

8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

9 내가 출생하게 하고는 출산하지 못하게 하겠느냐? 주가 말하노라. 내가 출산하게 하고는 태를 닫겠느냐? 너의 하나님이 말하노라.

9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

10 예루살렘을 사랑하는 너희 모두여, 너희는 그녀와 함께 크게 기뻐하고 그녀와 함께 희열하라. 그녀를 위하여 애곡하는 너희 모두여, 그녀와 함께 즐거움으로 크게 기뻐하라.

10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

11 이는 너희가 젖을 빨고 그녀가 주는 위안들의 젖가슴으로 만족하게 하려 함이요, 너희가 젖을 짜고 그녀의 영광의 풍성함으로 크게 즐거워하게 하려 함이라.

11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

12 이는 주가 이같이 말하기 때문이라. 보라, 내가 그녀에게 화평을 강처럼, 이방인들의 영광을 흐르는 개울처럼 주겠노라. 그때 너희는 젖을 빨 것이요, 너희는 그녀의 양 옆구리에 안기고 그녀의 무릎들 위에서 놀게 되리라.

12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

13 누군가를 그의 어머니가 위로하듯 내가 그렇게 너희를 위로하겠노라. 그리고 너희는 예루살렘에서 위로를 받으리라.

13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

14 그리고 너희가 이것을 볼 때 너희의 마음이 크게 기뻐할 것이요, 너희의 뼈들은 풀잎처럼 무성하리라. 또 주의 손이 자신의 종들에게 알려지고, 그의 격분이 자신의 원수들에게 알려지리라.

14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

15 이는 보라, 주가 불과 함께 올 것이요, 회오리바람같이 자신의 병거들과 함께 올 것이기 때문이니, 노여움으로 그의 분노를 돌려주고, 불의 화염들로 그의 꾸짖음을 돌려주기 위함이라.

15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

16 이는 주가 불과 그의 칼로 모든 육체와 함께 변론할 것이기 때문이라. 그런즉 주께 살해당할 자가 많으리라.

16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

17 스스로를 성결하게 구별하고, 정원들의 한가운데 있는 나무 한 그루 뒤에서 스스로를 정화시킨 채 돼지고기와 가증한 것과 쥐를 먹는 자들은 다 함께 소멸되리라. 주가 말하노라.

17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

18 이는 내가 그들의 행위들과 그들의 생각들을 알기 때문이라. 그것이 이르리니, 곧 내가 모든 민족들과 어족들을 모으겠노라. 그리하면 그들이 와서 나의 영광을 보리라.

18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

19 그리고 내가 그들 가운데서 표적을 세우겠노라. 그리고 내가 그들에게서 탈출한 자들을 민족들에게 보내리니, 곧 활을 당기는 타르시시와 풀과 루드에게요, 투발과 야완에게요, 멀리 떨어져 있는 섬들에게니, 나의 명성도 들어보지 못하고 나의 영광도 본 적이 없는 섬들이라. 그리하면 그들이 나의 영광을 이방인들 가운데서 선언하리라.

19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

20 주가 말하노라. 그리고 이스라엘 자녀들이 봉헌물을 깨끗한 그릇에 담아 주의 집 안으로 가져오는 것같이, 그들은 주께 드리는 봉헌물로 너희의 모든 형제들을 모든 민족들에게서 데려오리니, 말들 위와 병거들 안과 가마들 안과 노새들 위와 빠른 짐승들 위에 태운 채 나의 거룩한 산 예루살렘으로 향하리라.

20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

21 그리고 나 역시 그들 중에서 제사장들과 레위인들을 취하리라. 주가 말하노라.

21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

22 이는 내가 만들 새 하늘들과 새 땅이 내 앞에 남아 있을 것같이 너희의 씨와 너희의 이름이 그렇게 남아 있을 것이기 때문이라. 주가 말하노라.

22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

23 그런즉 이러한 일이 있으리니, 한 새 달부터 다른 새 달까지, 또 한 안식일부터 다른 안식일까지 모든 육체가 내 앞에 경배하러 나오리라. 주가 말하노라.

23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

24 그리고 그들은 나아가서 나를 대적하여 불법을 행하였던 사람들의 사체들을 바라보리라. 이는 그들의 구더기는 죽지 아니할 것이요, 그들의 불도 꺼지지 아니할 것이기 때문이라. 그런즉 그들은 모든 육체에게 혐오스러운 것이 되리라.

24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
