이사야서 26장

1 그날에 유다 지역에서 이 노래가 불려지리라. “우리에게 강한 도시가 있도다. 하나님께서 구원을 성벽들과 보루들로 지정하시리라.”

1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.

2 너희는 성문들을 열어서 진리를 지키는 의로운 민족이 들어오게 하라.

2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.

3 당신께서는 자신의 생각이 당신께 고정된 자를 완전한 평안 가운데 지키시리니, 그가 당신을 신뢰하기 때문이니이다.

3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

4 너희는 주를 영원토록 신뢰하라. 이는 주 여호와 안에 영원한 힘이 있기 때문이라.

4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

5 ¶ 이는 그분께서 높이 거하는 자들을 끌어내리시기 때문이라. 그분께서 우뚝 솟은 도시, 그것을 낮아지게 하시느니라. 그분께서 그것을 심지어 땅바닥에까지 낮아지게 하시며, 그분께서 그것을 심지어 티끌에까지 끌어내리시느니라.

5 ¶ For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.

6 발이 그것을 짓밟으리니, 곧 가난한 자의 두 발과 빈곤한 자들의 걸음들이로다.

6 The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.

7 의인의 길은 올바름이라. 지극히 올바르신 당신께서 의인의 행로의 무게를 달아 보시나이다.

7 The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

8 오, 주여, 진정 당신의 심판들의 길에서 저희가 당신을 기다렸나이다. 저희 혼의 열망이 당신의 이름에, 또 당신을 기억함에 있나이다.

8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.

9 밤에 제가 저의 혼으로 당신을 열망하였나이다. 진정 제 안에 있는 저의 영으로 일찍 당신을 찾겠나이다. 이는 당신의 심판들이 땅에 있을 때 세상의 거주자들이 의를 배울 것이기 때문이니이다.

9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

10 호의가 사악한 자에게 보여지게 하소서. 그럼에도 그는 의를 배우지 아니할 것이니이다. 올바름의 지역에서 그가 불공정하게 처신할 것이요, 주의 존엄을 보지 아니할 것이니이다.

10 Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

11 주여, 당신의 손이 위로 들릴 때에는 그들이 보지 아니할 것이니이다. 그러나 그들은 보리니, 그들이 그 백성에 대한 자기들의 시기로 인하여 부끄러워하리이다. 진정 당신의 원수들의 불이 그들을 집어삼키리이다.

11 LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.

12 ¶ 주여, 당신께서 저희를 위하여 화평을 정하시리이다. 이는 당신께서 또한 저희 안에서 저희의 모든 일들을 행하셨기 때문이니이다.

12 ¶ LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.

13 오, 주 우리 하나님이여, 당신 외에 다른 주들이 저희를 지배하였나이다. 그러나 저희는 오직 당신으로 말미암아 당신의 이름을 언급하겠나이다.

13 O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

14 그들은 죽었으니, 그들은 살지 못하리이다. 그들이 사망하였으니, 그들은 일어나지 못하리이다. 그러므로 당신께서 그들을 벌하시고 멸하시어 그들에 대한 모든 기념을 사라지게 하셨나이다.

14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

15 당신께서 그 민족을 융성하게 하셨고, 오, 주여, 당신께서 그 민족을 융성하게 하셨나이다. 당신께서 영화롭게 되셨나이다. 당신께서 그것을 저 멀리 땅의 모든 끝들까지 옮기셨나이다.

15 Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.

16 주여, 그들이 곤경 가운데서 당신을 찾아갔나이다. 당신의 징계가 그들 위에 임하였을 때 그들이 기도를 쏟아 내었나이다.

16 LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.

17 마치 아이를 가진 여자가 그녀의 해산의 때가 가까이 다가와서 통증 가운데 있으면서 그녀의 산통들 중에 소리 지르는 것처럼, 오, 주여, 이와 같이 저희가 당신의 목전에서 그러하였나이다.

17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.

18 저희는 아이를 가졌고, 저희가 아픔 가운데 있었나이다. 저희가 마치 바람을 출산한 것 같았나이다. 저희는 땅에서 어떤 구출도 이루지 못하였나이다. 또한 세상의 거주자들도 쓰러뜨리지 못하였나이다.

18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

19 당신의 죽은 사람들이 살아나리니, 저의 죽은 몸과 함께 그들이 일어나리이다. 티끌 속에 거하는 너희여, 깨어나서 노래하라. 이는 당신의 이슬이 풀잎들의 이슬 같고, 땅이 죽은 자들을 내놓을 것이기 때문이니이다.

19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

20 ¶ 오라, 나의 백성아, 너는 너의 방실들로 들어가서 너의 주변에 있는 너의 문들을 닫으라. 격분이 다 지나갈 때까지 그것이 짧은 순간인 것처럼 너 자신을 숨기라.

20 ¶ Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

21 이는 보라, 주께서 땅의 거주자들의 죄악으로 인하여 그들을 벌하시려고 자신의 처소에서 나오시기 때문이라. 땅도 그녀의 피를 드러낼 것이요, 그녀의 살해당한 자들을 더 이상 덮지 아니하리라.

21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
