이사야서 62장

1 나는 시온을 위하여 나의 침묵을 지키지 아니할 것이요, 나는 예루살렘을 위하여 쉬지 아니할 것이니, 그곳의 의가 광명같이, 그곳의 구원이 타는 등불같이 나아갈 때까지 그리하겠노라.

1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

2 그리고 이방인들이 너의 의를, 모든 왕들이 너의 영광을 보리라. 그리하여 너는 주의 입이 지어 줄 새 이름으로 불리리라.

2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

3 또한 너는 주의 손안에 있는 영광의 왕관이 될 것이요, 너의 하나님의 손안에 있는 왕가의 보관이 되리라.

3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4 너는 더 이상 버림받은 자라 지칭되지 아니하리라. 또한 너의 지역은 더 이상 황량한 곳이라 지칭되지 아니하리라. 오직 너는 헵지바라 불릴 것이요, 너의 지역은 뷸라라 불리리라. 이는 주가 너를 크게 즐거워하고, 너의 지역이 혼인할 것이기 때문이라.

4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

5 ¶ 이는 청년이 처녀와 혼인하는 것처럼 그와 같이 너의 자손들이 너와 혼인할 것이기 때문이라. 마치 신랑이 신부를 크게 기뻐하듯 그와 같이 너의 하나님이 너를 크게 기뻐하리라.

5 ¶ For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

6 오, 예루살렘아, 내가 너의 성벽들 위에 파수꾼들을 세웠노라. 그들은 낮에도 밤에도 결코 그들의 침묵을 지키지 아니하리라. 주에 관하여 언급하는 너희여, 잠잠하지 말고

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

7 그가 확고히 세울 때까지는, 곧 그가 예루살렘을 땅에서 찬송으로 삼을 때까지는 그에게 안식을 주지 말라.

7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8 주가 그의 오른손으로, 또 그의 힘의 팔로 맹세하였노라. “결단코 나는 더 이상 너의 곡식을 너의 원수들을 위한 음식이 되도록 주지 아니하겠노라. 그리고 타국인의 자손들이 네가 수고한 것으로 얻은 너의 포도즙을 마시지도 못하리라.

8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

9 오직 그것을 거둔 자들이 그것을 먹고 주를 찬송하리라. 그리하여 그것을 함께 거둔 자들이 나의 거룩함의 뜰들 안에서 그것을 마시리라.”

9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

10 ¶ 통과하라, 성문들을 통과하라. 너희는 백성의 길을 예비하라. 건설하라, 대로를 건설하라. 돌들을 모아 치우라. 백성을 위한 깃발을 들어 올리라.

10 ¶ Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

11 보라, 주가 세상의 끝까지 공포하였도다. “너희는 시온의 딸에게 이같이 말하라. 보라, 너의 구원이 오는도다. 보라, 그의 보상이 그와 함께 있고, 그의 역사가 그의 앞에 있도다.”

11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

12 그리하여 저들이 그들을 “거룩한 백성, 주의 구속받은 자들”이라 부르리라. 그리고 너는 “찾아낸 곳, 버려지지 아니한 도성”이라 불리리라.

12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
