1 오, 주께 감사들을 드리라. 그분의 이름을 부르라. 그분께서 행하신 일들이 백성들 가운데 알려지게 하라.
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 그분께 노래하라. 그분께 시편들을 노래하라. 너희는 그분의 모든 경이로운 역사들에 관하여 말하라.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 너희는 그분의 거룩한 이름으로 희열하라. 주를 찾는 자들의 마음은 크게 기뻐할지어다.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4 주와 그분의 힘을 찾으라. 언제나 그분의 얼굴을 찾으라.
4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 그분께서 행하신 그분의 경탄스러운 역사들을 기억하라. 그분의 이적들과 그분의 입에서 나오는 공의로운 법규들을 기억하라.
5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
6 오, 그분의 종 아브라함의 씨인 너희여, 그분의 선택받은 야곱의 자녀들인 너희여, 그것들을 기억하라.
6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
7 그분은 주 우리 하나님이시라. 그분의 공의로운 법규들이 온 땅에 있도다.
7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 그분께서 자신의 언약을 계속해서 기억해 오셨나니, 곧 그분께서 일천 대까지 명령하신 말씀이라.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 이 언약은 그분께서 아브라함과 맺으신 것이요, 이삭에게 하신 그분의 맹세로다.
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10 그런즉 그분께서 바로 그 언약을 야곱에게 법으로, 곧 이스라엘에게 영원한 언약으로 확정하셨으니,
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11 말씀하시기를, “내가 가나안 지역, 곧 너희 유산의 분깃을 너에게 주겠노라.” 하셨도다.
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
12 그들이 수적으로 불과 몇 사람밖에 안 되었을 때, 진정 아주 소수였고 그곳에서 타국인들이었을 때,
12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
13 그들이 한 민족에서 다른 민족으로, 한 왕국에서 다른 백성에게로 갔을 때,
13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14 그분께서 어떤 사람도 그들에게 부당하게 행하는 것을 용납하지 아니하셨도다. 진정 그분께서 그들로 인하여 왕들을 꾸짖으셨으며
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15 말씀하시기를, “나의 기름 부음 받은 자들을 손대지 말며, 나의 예언자들에게 해를 입히지 말라.” 하셨도다.
15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
16 이뿐만 아니라 그분께서 기근을 그 지역 위로 불러오셨도다. 그분께서 빵 버팀대를 통째로 부러뜨리셨도다.
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
17 그분께서 한 사람을 그들 앞에 보내셨으니, 바로 요셉이라. 그가 종으로 팔렸도다.
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 그들이 요셉의 두 발을 족쇄들로 상하게 하였으니, 그가 쇠사슬 안에 놓여 있었도다.
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 그분의 말씀이 임할 때까지 주의 말씀이 그를 정련하였도다.
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
20 왕이 사람을 보내서 그를 풀어주었도다. 바로 그 백성의 치리자가 그를 자유롭게 가게 하였도다.
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21 그가 그를 자신의 집의 주로 삼고 자신의 모든 재물의 주관자로 삼았도다.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22 이는 그가 기뻐하는 대로 자신의 통치자들에게 의무를 지우고, 자신의 의원들에게 지혜를 가르치고자 함이라.
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
23 이스라엘도 이집트로 들어왔도다. 그리하여 야곱이 함의 지역에서 체류하였도다.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 그리고 그분께서 자신의 백성을 대단히 늘리셨으니, 그들의 원수들보다 그들을 강하게 하셨도다.
24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25 그분께서 그들의 마음을 돌이키시어 그분의 백성을 증오하게 하셨고, 그분의 종들을 간교하게 다루게 하셨도다.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26 그분께서 자신의 종 모세와 또 친히 선택하신 아론을 보내셨도다.
26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 그들이 그들 가운데서 그분의 표적들을 보였으니, 함의 지역에서 이적들을 보였도다.
27 They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 그분께서 어둠을 보내셨고, 그곳을 어둡게 하셨도다. 그리하여 그들은 그분의 말씀을 대적하여 반역하지 아니하였도다.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 그분께서 그들의 물들을 피로 바꾸셨고, 그들의 물고기를 도살하셨도다.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 그들의 영토가 개구리들을 넘치도록 내놓았으니, 그들 왕들의 방실들 안에도 있었도다.
30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
31 그분께서 말씀하셨으니, 다양한 유형의 파리들이 와 있었고, 그들의 모든 지경들 안에 이가 생겼도다.
31 He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
32 그분께서 그들에게 비 대신 우박을, 그들의 지역에 이글거리는 불을 주셨도다.
32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33 그분께서 그들의 포도나무들과 그들의 무화과나무들도 치셨으며, 그들의 지경들에 속한 나무들을 꺾으셨도다.
33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
34 그분께서 말씀하셨으니, 메뚜기들이 왔고, 애벌레들이 왔는데, 무수히 왔도다.
34 He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
35 그런즉 그것들이 그들의 지역 안에 있던 모든 채소들을 먹어 치웠고 그들의 경지의 열매를 집어삼켰도다.
35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 그분께서 또한 그들의 지역 안에 있던 모든 첫 태생, 곧 그들의 모든 힘의 으뜸을 치셨도다.
36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37 그분께서 또한 그들을 은과 금과 더불어 데리고 나오셨도다. 그리하여 그들의 지파들 가운데는 나약한 인물이 한 명도 없었도다.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38 그들이 떠났을 때 이집트가 반겼도다. 이는 그들에 대한 두려움이 저들 위에 임하였기 때문이라.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39 그분께서 구름을 덮개로 펼치셨고, 밤중에는 빛을 주시려고 불을 펼치셨도다.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 그 백성이 구하였기에 그분께서 메추라기들을 가져오셨고, 하늘의 빵으로 그들을 만족시키셨도다.
40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 그분께서 반석을 여셨더니 물들이 쏟아져 나왔도다. 그것들이 메마른 곳들 안에서 강처럼 흘렀도다.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 이는 그분께서 자신의 거룩한 약속과 자신의 종 아브라함을 기억하셨기 때문이라.
42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43 그리고 그분께서는 자신의 백성을 즐거움과 함께, 자신의 선택받은 자들을 희열과 함께 데리고 나오셨으니,
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44 그들에게 이교도들의 지역들을 주셨도다. 그런즉 그들이 그 백성들의 수고를 상속하였도다.
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45 이는 그들로 하여금 자신의 규례들을 준수하고 자신의 법들을 지키게 하려 하심이라. 너희는 주를 찬송하라.
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.
