<A Psalm of David, Maschil.>
1 자신의 불법이 용서받고 자신의 죄가 가려진 자는 복되도다.
1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2 주께서 그에게 죄악을 전가하지 아니하시고, 그의 영 안에 기만이 없는 사람은 복되도다.
2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3 제가 잠잠할 때 저의 뼈들이 온종일 저의 포효함으로 노쇠해졌나이다.
3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4 이는 주야로 저를 짓누르는 당신의 손이 무거웠기 때문이니이다. 저의 진액이 여름철 가뭄으로 바뀌었나이다. 셀라.
4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5 제가 당신께 저의 죄를 인정하였으며, 제가 저의 죄악을 숨겨 오지 아니하였나이다. 제가 말씀드리기를, “저는 주께 저의 불법들을 시인하겠나이다.” 하였나이다. 그러자 당신께서 제 죄에서 나온 죄악을 용서하셨나이다. 셀라.
5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6 이를 위하여 경건한 모든 자마다 당신께서 발견될 만한 때에 당신께 기도하리이다. 확실히 거대한 물들로 된 홍수들 속에서도 그것들이 그에게 근접해 오지 아니할 것이니이다.
6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 당신께서는 나의 은신처시니이다. 당신께서 곤경으로부터 저를 보존하시리이다. 당신께서 저의 주위를 구출의 노래들로 두르시리이다. 셀라.
7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8 내가 너를 지도하고 네가 가야할 길을 너에게 가르치겠노라. 내가 나의 눈으로 너를 안내하겠노라.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9 너희는 명철이 없는 말이나 노새같이 되지 말라. 그것들의 입은 재갈과 굴레로 반드시 동여져야만 하나니, 그것들이 너에게 가까이 오지 않게 하려 함이라.
9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10 사악한 자에게는 많은 슬픔들이 있으리라. 그러나 주를 신뢰하는 자는 자비가 그의 주위를 둘러싸리라.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
11 너희, 의로운 자들아, 주 안에서 반가워하고 크게 기뻐하라. 그리고 마음이 올바른 너희 모든 자들아, 즐거움으로 환호하라.
11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
