<악장에게, 곧 여두둔에게, 다윗의 시편>
<To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.>
1 참으로 나의 혼이 하나님을 기다리는도다. 그분께로부터 나의 구원이 나오는도다.
1 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
2 오직 그분만이 나의 반석이시요, 나의 구원이시라. 그분께서는 나의 수호자이시니, 내가 심하게 동요하지 아니하리라.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
3 너희가 언제까지 사람을 대적하여 해로운 것을 구상하겠느냐? 너희는 모조리 살해당하리라. 너희가 기울어지는 성벽과 흔들거리는 담과 같으리라.
3 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
4 그들은 오로지 그를 그의 탁월함에서 내던지려고 논의하는도다. 그들은 거짓말들을 크게 즐거워하는도다. 그들이 자신들의 입으로는 축복하나, 그들의 속으로는 저주하는도다. 셀라.
4 They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
5 나의 혼아, 너는 오로지 하나님만 기다리라. 이는 나의 기대가 그분께로부터 오기 때문이라.
5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
6 그분만이 나의 반석이시요, 나의 구원이시라. 그분께서는 나의 수호자이시니, 내가 동요하지 아니하리라.
6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7 하나님 안에 나의 구원과 나의 영광이 있도다. 나의 힘의 반석과 나의 피난처가 하나님 안에 있도다.
7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 항상 그분을 신뢰하라. 너희, 백성아, 너희의 마음을 그분 앞에 쏟아 놓으라. 하나님께서는 우리를 위한 피난처시로다. 셀라.
8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9 과연 낮은 지위의 사람들은 텅 빈 것이요, 높은 지위의 사람들은 거짓이로다. 그들은 다 합쳐도 저울에 놓이면 텅 빈 것보다 더 가볍도다.
9 Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
10 압제를 신뢰하지 말고, 강탈함으로 허망하게 되지 말라. 설령 재물들이 늘어난다 해도 너희 마음을 그것들에 두지 말라.
10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
11 하나님께서 한 번 말씀하셨고, 내가 이것을 두 번 들었으니, 곧 권능이 하나님께 속한다는 것이라.
11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
12 오, 주여, 또한 자비가 당신께 속하나이다. 이는 당신께서 모든 사람에게 저마다 그의 행위대로 돌려주시기 때문이니이다.
12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
