<다윗의 시편>

<A Psalm of David.>

1 주여, 누가 당신의 장막 안에 거하리이까? 누가 당신의 거룩한 언덕 안에서 지내리이까?

1 LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

2 올바르게 살아가고 의를 이루며 그의 마음속에서 진리를 말하는 자요,

2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

3 자신의 혀로 험담하지 아니하고 자신의 이웃에게 악을 행하지도 아니하며 자신의 이웃을 대적하여 비방하지도 아니하는 자라.

3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

4 그의 두 눈에 비열한 인물이 업신여김을 받는도다. 그러나 그는 주를 두려워하는 자들을 존경하는도다. 그는 자기 자신에게 해가 되는 것이라도 맹세한 것을 바꾸지 아니하는 자요,

4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

5 이자를 받으려고 자신의 돈을 내주지 아니하고 무고한 자를 대적하여 보수를 받지도 아니하는 자로다. 이런 일들을 실행하는 자는 결코 동요하지 아니하리라.

5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
