1 지극히 높으신 분의 은밀한 처소 안에 거하는 자는 전능하신 분의 그늘 아래에 거하리로다.
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 내가 주에 관하여 말하기를, “그분은 나의 피난처시요, 나의 견고한 요새시요, 나의 하나님이시라. 나는 그분을 신뢰하겠노라.” 하리로다.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 확실히 그분께서 너를 새 사냥꾼의 올무와 고약한 역병에서 구출하시리라.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 그분께서 자신의 깃털들로 너를 덮으시리니, 너는 그분의 날개들 아래서 그분을 신뢰할지니라. 그분의 진리가 너의 방패와 원형 방패가 되리라.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 너는 밤에 닥치는 공포로도, 낮에 날아드는 화살로도 무서워하지 말고,
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 어둠 속에 다니는 역병으로도, 대낮에 황폐하게 하는 멸망으로도 무서워하지 말라.
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 일천 명이 너의 옆에서 쓰러지고, 일만 명이 너의 오른편에서 쓰러질 것이나 그것이 너에게 가까이 오지 못하리라.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 다만 너는 사악한 자들의 보응을 너의 눈으로 목도하고 주시하리라.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 이는 네가 나의 피난처이신 주, 곧 지극히 높으신 분을 너의 거처로 삼았기 때문이라.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 어떤 해악도 너에게 닥치지 못할 것이요, 어떤 재앙도 너의 거처에 가까이 오지 못하리라.
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 이는 그분께서 자신의 천사들에게 너에 대한 책무를 주시어 너의 모든 길들에서 너를 지키게 하실 것이기 때문이라.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 그들이 자신들의 손으로 너를 떠받치리니, 네가 너의 발을 돌 하나에라도 부딪치게 하지 않게 하려 함이라.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 네가 사자와 살모사를 짓밟으리니, 너는 젊은 사자와 용을 두 발 아래 짓밟으리라.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 그가 그의 사랑을 내 위에 둔 까닭이니, 그러므로 내가 그를 구출하겠노라. 내가 그를 높이 세우겠으니, 그가 나의 이름을 알았기 때문이라.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 그가 나를 부르리니, 내가 그에게 응답하겠노라. 내가 곤경 속에서 그와 함께 있겠노라. 내가 그를 구출하고 그를 존귀하게 하겠노라.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 내가 그를 장수로 만족시키고 그에게 나의 구원을 보이겠노라.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
