1 오, 주께 감사들을 드리라. 이는 그분께서 선하시기 때문이라. 이는 그분의 자비가 영원토록 지속되기 때문이라.
1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 주께 구속받은 자들은 이같이 말할지어다. 그분께서는 그들을 원수의 손에서 구속하셨도다.
2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3 그런즉 그분께서 여러 지역들로부터, 곧 동쪽으로부터, 서쪽으로부터, 북쪽으로부터, 남쪽으로부터 그들을 모으셨도다.
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4 그들은 광야 속 고립된 길 가운데 방황하였으니, 그들이 그 안에 거할 도시를 발견하지 못하였도다.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5 배고프고 목말라서 그들의 혼이 그들 속에서 기진하였도다.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 그때 그들이 그들의 곤경 속에서 주께 부르짖었으니, 그분께서 그들의 괴로움들로부터 그들을 구출하셨도다.
6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7 그리고 그분께서 그들이 거처할 도시로 갈 수 있도록 그들을 바른 길로 이끌어 내셨도다.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 오, 그분의 선하심으로 인하여, 또 사람들의 자녀들을 향한 그분의 경이로운 역사들로 인하여 사람들이 주를 찬송하기를 바라노라!
8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 이는 그분께서 애타게 바라는 혼을 만족시키시고 굶주린 혼을 선하심으로 채워 주시기 때문이라.
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10 고난과 쇠사슬에 매인 채 어둠 속에서 사망의 그림자 가운데 앉아 있는 자들이 있나니,
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11 그들이 하나님의 말씀들을 대적하여 반역하였고 지극히 높으신 분의 조언을 업신여겼기 때문이라.
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12 그러므로 그분께서 그들의 마음을 수고로써 낮추셨나니, 그들이 쓰러졌어도 돕는 자가 아무도 없었도다.
12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13 그때 그들이 자신들의 곤경 가운데서 주께 부르짖었고, 그분께서 그들의 괴로움들로부터 그들을 구원하셨도다.
13 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14 그분께서 어둠과, 사망의 그림자에서 그들을 데리고 나오시어 그들의 결박들을 산산이 부수셨도다.
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15 오, 그분의 선하심으로 인하여, 또 사람들의 자녀들을 향한 그분의 경이로운 역사들로 인하여 사람들이 주를 찬송하기를 바라노라!
15 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
16 이는 그분께서 놋 대문들을 깨뜨리셨고, 철 빗장들을 산산이 끊으셨기 때문이라.
16 For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
17 어리석은 자들은 자신들의 불법으로 인하여, 또 자신들의 죄악들로 인하여 고난을 당하는도다.
17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18 그들의 혼이 모든 부류의 음식을 혐오하는도다. 그런즉 그들이 사망의 대문들에 가까이 이르는도다.
18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
19 그때 그들이 자신들의 곤경 속에서 주께 부르짖으니, 그분께서 그들의 괴로움들로부터 그들을 구원하시는도다.
19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
20 그분께서 자신의 말씀을 보내셨고, 그들을 치유하셨으며, 그들의 멸망들로부터 그들을 구출하셨도다.
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21 오, 그분의 선하심으로 인하여, 또 사람들의 자녀들을 향한 그분의 경이로운 역사들로 인하여 사람들이 주를 찬송하기를 바라노라!
21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
22 그런즉 그들로 하여금 감사들을 드리는 희생 제물들로 희생 제물을 바치게 하고, 그분의 역사들을 크게 기뻐함으로 선언하게 하라.
22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
23 선박들을 타고 바다로 내려가는 자들과, 거대한 물들에서 사업을 하는 자들,
23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
24 이들은 주의 역사들과, 깊음 속에 있는 그분의 이적들을 보는도다.
24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
25 이는 그분께서 명령하시고, 휘몰아치는 폭풍을 일으키시어, 폭풍이 그곳의 파도들을 일으키기 때문이라.
25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
26 그들이 하늘로 올라가다가, 그들이 다시 깊은 곳들로 내려가는도다. 곤경으로 인하여 그들의 혼이 녹는도다.
26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
27 그들이 이리저리 비틀거리고 술 취한 사람처럼 휘청거리나니, 그들은 어찌할 바를 모르는도다.
27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.
28 그때 그들은 자신들의 곤경 속에서 주께 부르짖으니, 그분께서 그들을 자신들의 괴로움들에서 데리고 나오시는도다.
28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
29 그분께서 폭풍을 고요하게 하시므로, 그곳의 파도들이 잔잔해지는도다.
29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30 그때 그것들이 잔잔하므로 그들이 반가워하는도다. 그렇게 하여 그분께서 그들이 열망하던 항구로 그들을 데려오시는도다.
30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
31 오, 그분의 선하심으로 인하여, 또 사람들의 자녀들을 향한 그분의 경이로운 역사들로 인하여 사람들이 주를 찬송하기를 바라노라!
31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
32 사람들은 백성의 회중 가운데서 또한 그분을 크게 높이고 장로들의 집회 가운데서 그분을 찬송할지어다.
32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
33 그분께서 강들을 광야로 바꾸시고 물이 솟는 샘들을 메마른 토양으로 바꾸시나니,
33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
34 그 안에 거하는 자들의 사악함으로 인하여 열매로 가득한 지역을 불모지로 바꾸시는도다.
34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35 그분께서 광야를 고인 물로 바꾸시고 메마른 토양을 물이 솟는 샘들로 바꾸시는도다.
35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
36 그리하여 그분께서 굶주린 자들을 거기에 거하게 하시나니, 그들이 거처를 위한 도시를 예비하게 하려 하심이라.
36 And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
37 또 밭들에 씨를 뿌리고 포도원을 세워 그것들이 소산의 열매들을 낼 수 있게 하시는도다.
37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
38 그분께서 그들에게 또한 복을 주시어 그들로 하여금 대단히 번성하게 되도록 하시고, 그들의 가축들로 하여금 줄어들지 않게 하시는도다.
38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
39 다시금 그들은 압제와 고난과 슬픔을 통하여 작아지고 낮춰지는도다.
39 Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
40 그분께서 통치자들 위에 모멸을 쏟으시고, 그들로 하여금 길이 전혀 없는 광야 가운데서 방황하게 하시는도다.
40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
41 그럼에도 그분께서는 가난한 자를 고난으로부터 높이 두시고, 그를 양 떼같이 가족들로 만드시는도다.
41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
42 의로운 자들은 그것을 보고 크게 기뻐하리라. 그리고 모든 죄악은 그녀의 입을 틀어막으리라.
42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
43 누구든지 지혜로워서 이런 것들을 주시할 자, 바로 그들은 주의 인애하심을 이해하리라.
43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
