<다윗의 시편, 그가 아비멜렉 앞에서 자신의 행동 방식을 바꾸어 아비멜렉이 그를 내쫓아 그가 떠났을 때>

<A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.>

1 나는 항상 주를 찬양하겠노라. 그분을 찬송함이 나의 입안에서 지속되리라.

1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 나의 혼이 주를 그녀의 자랑으로 삼으리라. 겸손한 자들이 그것을 듣고 반가워하리라.

2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

3 오, 나와 함께 주를 드높이라. 그리하여 우리가 함께 그분의 이름을 크게 높이자.

3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 내가 주를 찾았더니, 그분께서 나의 말을 들으셨고 나의 모든 두려움들에서 나를 구출하셨도다.

4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 그들이 그분을 바라보았더니, 빛을 받았도다. 그러자 그들의 얼굴이 수치를 당하지 아니하였도다.

5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 이 가난한 사람이 부르짖었더니, 주께서 그의 말을 들으셨고 그를 그의 모든 곤경들에서 구원하셨도다.

6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 주의 천사가 그분을 두려워하는 자들 주위에서 주둔하고 그들을 구출하는도다.

7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8 오, 주께서 선하시다는 것을 맛보아 알라. 그분을 신뢰하는 사람은 복되도다.

8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9 오, 너희, 그분의 성도들아, 주를 두려워하라. 이는 그분을 두려워하는 자들에게는 부족한 것이 전혀 없기 때문이라.

9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10 젊은 사자들이 부족하여 굶주리는도다. 그러나 주를 찾는 자들은 어떤 좋은 것도 부족하지 아니하리라.

10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

11 너희, 자녀들아, 와서 내게 경청하라. 내가 너희에게 주를 두려워하는 것을 가르치겠노라.

11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 생명을 갈구하고 많은 날들을 사랑하여 자신이 좋은 것을 보고자 하는 자는 어떤 사람인가?

12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13 악으로부터 너의 혀를 지키고, 기만을 말하는 데서 너의 입술을 지키라.

13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 악에서 떠나고 선을 행하라. 화평을 사랑하고 그것을 추구하라.

14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15 주의 눈들은 의로운 자들 위에 있으며, 그분의 두 귀는 그들의 부르짖음에 열려 있도다.

15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

16 주의 얼굴은 악을 행하는 자들을 대적하시나니, 그들에 대한 기억을 땅에서 끊어 버리고자 하심이라.

16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 의로운 자들이 부르짖자 주께서 들으시고 그들의 모든 곤경들에서 그들을 구출하시는도다.

17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 주께서는 상한 마음을 지닌 자들에게 가까이 계시며 참회하는 영을 지닌 자들을 구원하시는도다.

18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 의로운 자에게는 고난들이 많도다. 그러나 주께서 그러한 모든 것들에서 그를 구출하시는도다.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

20 그분께서 그의 모든 뼈들을 지키시는도다. 그것들 중 하나도 부러지지 아니하는도다.

20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 악이 사악한 자를 살해하리라. 그리하여 의로운 자를 증오하는 자들은 황량하게 되리라.

21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 주께서 자신의 종들의 혼을 구속하시는도다. 그런즉 그분을 신뢰하는 자들은 아무도 황량하게 되지 아니하리라.

22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
