<솔로몬을 위한 시편>

<A Psalm for Solomon.>

1 오, 하나님이여, 당신의 판단들을 왕에게 주시고, 당신의 의를 왕의 아들에게 주소서.

1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

2 그가 당신의 백성을 의로 재판할 것이요, 당신의 가난한 자들을 공의로 재판하리이다.

2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

3 의를 통하여 산들이 백성에게 화평을 가져다줄 것이요, 작은 언덕들도 그리하리이다.

3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

4 그가 백성 중 가난한 자들을 재판하리이다. 그가 빈곤한 자의 자식들을 구원할 것이요, 압제자를 산산이 부수리이다.

4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

5 해와 달이 지속되는 한 그들이 모든 세대들에 걸쳐 당신을 두려워하리이다.

5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

6 그가 베어진 풀 위에 내리는 비처럼 내려올 것이요, 땅에 물을 주는 소나기들 같으리이다.

6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

7 그의 날들에 의로운 자가 꽃피리이다. 또 화평의 풍성함이 달이 지속되는 한 그와 같이 꽃피리이다.

7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

8 또한 그는 바다에서 바다까지, 강에서 땅의 끝들까지 통치권을 가지리이다.

8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

9 광야 가운데 거하는 자들이 그의 앞에 절하리이다. 또 그의 원수들이 티끌을 핥으리이다.

9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

10 타르시시의 왕들과 섬들의 왕들이 헌물들을 가져가리이다. 셰바와 스바의 왕들이 선물들을 바치리이다.

10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

11 진정 모든 왕들이 그의 앞에서 엎드릴 것이니이다. 모든 민족들이 그를 섬길 것이니이다.

11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

12 이는 그가 부르짖을 때 그가 빈곤한 자를 구출할 것이요, 또한 가난한 자와, 돕는 자가 전혀 없는 자를 구출할 것이기 때문이니이다.

12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

13 그가 가난한 자와 빈곤한 자를 아낄 것이요, 빈곤한 자들의 혼들을 구원하리이다.

13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

14 그가 그들의 혼을 속임수와 폭력에서 구속하리라. 또 그들의 피는 그의 목전에서 귀하리이다.

14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

15 또 그가 살 것이요, 그에게 셰바의 금이 주어지리이다. 기도도 그를 위하여 지속적으로 드려지리이다. 또 매일 그가 찬송을 받으리이다.

15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

16 산들의 꼭대기에 있는 땅에 곡식이 한 움큼이 있으리이다. 그것의 열매가 레바논처럼 흔들릴 것이니이다. 또 도시에 속한 자들이 땅의 풀처럼 번창하리이다.

16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

17 그의 이름이 영원토록 존속하리이다. 그의 이름이 해가 존재하는 한 지속되리이다. 또 사람들이 그의 안에서 복을 받으리이다. 모든 민족들이 그를 복된 자라 부르리이다.

17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

18 홀로 경이로운 것들을 행하시는, 이스라엘의 하나님이신 주 하나님께서 찬양받으시기를 바라노라.

18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

19 그리고 그분의 영광스러운 이름이 영원토록 찬양받으시기를 바라노라. 또 온 땅은 그분의 영광으로 채워질지어다. 아멘, 아멘.

19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

20 이새의 아들 다윗의 기도들이 끝나니라.
