<To the chief Musician upon Shoshannimeduth, A Psalm of Asaph.>
1 오, 이스라엘의 목자여, 요셉을 양 떼처럼 이끄시는 당신이여, 귀담아들으소서. 그룹들 사이에 거하시는 당신이여, 빛을 발산하소서.
1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
2 에프라임과 베냐민과 므낫세 앞에서 당신의 힘을 격동시키시고 오셔서 저희를 구원하소서.
2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.
3 오, 하나님이여, 저희를 다시 돌이키시고, 당신의 얼굴이 빛나게 하소서. 그리하면 저희가 구원을 받으리이다.
3 Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
4 오, 만군의 주 하나님이여, 당신께서 당신의 백성의 기도를 대적하여 얼마나 오랫동안 분노하시리이까?
4 O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
5 당신께서 그들을 눈물들의 빵으로 먹이시나니, 그들에게 대단히 많은 양의 눈물들을 주어 마시게 하시나이다.
5 Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
6 당신께서 저희를 저희 이웃들에게 분쟁거리로 삼으시나이다. 그런즉 저희 원수들이 자기들끼리 비웃나이다.
6 Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 오, 만군의 하나님이여, 저희를 다시 돌이키시고, 당신의 얼굴이 빛나게 하소서. 그리하면 저희가 구원을 받으리이다.
7 Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
8 당신께서 포도나무 한 그루를 이집트에서 가져오셨나이다. 당신께서 이교도들을 쫓아내시고 그것을 심으셨나이다.
8 Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
9 당신께서 그것 앞에 공간을 예비하셨고 그것을 깊이 뿌리내리게 하셨으니, 그것이 그 지역을 채웠나이다.
9 Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
10 언덕들이 그것의 그늘로 덮였고 그것의 원가지들이 수려한 백향목들과 같았나이다.
10 The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
11 그녀가 자신의 원가지들을 바다까지 내보냈고 자신의 가지들을 강까지 이르게 하였나이다.
11 She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.
12 그렇다면 어찌하여 당신께서 그녀의 울타리들을 허무시어, 길을 지나다니는 모든 자들이 그녀를 뽑게 하셨나이까?
12 Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
13 나무숲에서 나온 멧돼지가 그것을 황폐하게 하고 들의 야생 짐승이 그것을 집어삼키나이다.
13 The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.
14 오, 만군의 하나님이여, 저희가 당신께 간청하오니, 되돌아오소서. 하늘에서 내려다보시고 목도하시어 이 포도나무를 찾아오소서.
14 Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
15 그리고 당신의 오른손이 세운 포도원과, 당신께서 당신을 위하여 강하게 하신 가지를 찾아오소서.
15 And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
16 그것이 불에 탔고, 그것이 찍혀 쓰러졌나이다. 그들이 당신의 얼굴의 꾸짖음에 멸망하나이다.
16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17 당신의 오른손의 사람 위에, 당신께서 자신을 위하여 강하게 하신 인자 위에 당신의 손을 얹으소서.
17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
18 그러므로 저희가 당신으로부터 뒤로 물러가지 아니하겠나이다. 우리를 살아나게 하소서. 그리하면 저희가 당신의 이름을 부르겠나이다.
18 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
19 오, 만군의 주 하나님이여, 저희를 다시 돌이키시고, 당신의 얼굴이 빛나게 하소서. 그리하면 저희가 구원을 받으리이다.
19 Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
