<아삽의 시편>

<A Psalm of Asaph.>

1 하나님께서 막강한 자들의 회중 가운데 서 계시나니, 그분께서 신들 가운데서 재판하시는도다.

1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2 너희가 얼마나 오랫동안 불공정하게 재판하며 사악한 자들의 외모를 받아들이겠느냐? 셀라.

2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3 가난한 자와 아버지 없는 자를 수호하라. 고난당하는 자와 빈곤한 자에게 정의를 베풀라.

3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4 가난한 자와 빈곤한 자를 구출하라. 그들을 사악한 자들의 손에서 해방하라.

4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 그들은 모르나니, 그들은 이해하려 하지도 아니하는도다. 그들은 어둠 가운데 살아가는도다. 땅의 모든 기초들이 궤도에서 벗어나 있도다.

5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6 내가 말하기를, “너희는 신들이라. 그리고 너희 모두는 지극히 높으신 분의 자식들이라.” 하였도다.

6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7 그러나 너희는 사람들처럼 죽고, 통치자들 중 하나처럼 쓰러지리라.

7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8 오, 하나님이여, 일어나소서. 땅을 심판하소서. 이는 당신께서 모든 민족들을 상속하실 것이기 때문이니이다.

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
